He has used many English books on the market but could never find one that gave his students the freedom to say what they wanted. Always looking for an easier way to learn the English language, he came up with the idea to make Basic Pattern pages for his students, then kept adding on until a prototype of Speak OUT was made. Right away, he saw excellent results in his students’ abilities to speak, read, listen and comprehend. He spent five years developing this system and after pairing up with Keith, the ideas kept flowing. The duo worked day and night until this incredible English book was created. Keith J. Eldridge has been teaching English since 1996. He has taught for several English conversation schools and elementary schools. In 2001, he opened his own school and began searching for the best teaching method to encourage students to speak what’s on their mind. After testing many textbooks, he found that none really gave the students the language they needed to get speaking quickly. Realizing that all the learners needed to do was remember the patterns they need the most, then fill in blanks with what they want to say, he began focusing on this in class. He found out about the system Jeffrey was developing and knew this was the chance he was waiting for. When the two of them put their experience and ideas together, Speak OUT was born. |
